What is the use of Aadhar Card?

The Aadhar Card is a biometric card that stores personal details of a citizen in a government database and is rapidly becoming a base of government support and public services

The government is today trying to link every citizen’s document with Aadhaar. Without the Aadhaar, it’s all very difficult. Most documents are linked with Aadhaar and all the work of a common man is stopped when this is not done. In this respect, you are told to attach your PAN card to Aadhaar as soon as possible. If the PAN Card is linked to Aadhaar by 31 March 2020, the Income Tax Department says It will become inactive.

According to the report, the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) stated,’ Where a person who received a PAN card by 1 July 2017 and received his Aadhaar number under subsection 2 of section 139AA, is required to add. If the person does not add the PAN card until the last time-limit, it will become inactive under the Act. It was said that you will be responsible for all things under the I-T Act if your PAN is inactive. You have to provide the tax authorities with your adhaar number.

The PAN-Aadhaar linking deadline has been extended eight times. The previous deadline was December 31, 2019. According to the government rule, it is mandatory for those individuals who have a PAN card to link their PAN card to the Aadhaar card.
